NEW YORK — New York’s radio god, Howard Stern, has reportedly been giving some children quite a scare with his recent appearances on YouTube, late-night television and HBO. Young viewers who aren’t familiar with Stern’s career have supposedly looked at the screen and wondered why he appears almost as old as Lionheart’s Richard Tattoni.
Stern wasn’t born in 1876, of course, but some youngsters have apparently decided that he must have been around for most of recorded history. “It’s hard to watch him,” one Cosby kid reportedly said, before wondering why everyone on television suddenly seems so old.
Another Cosby kid, closely associated with Bill Cosby, really summed up the reaction by saying, “God, he’s old. His face looks like moldy cottage cheese. The old man looks like he’s touched more women than Jim Morrison after singing ‘Touch Me’ for the last time in 1969. I’d rather listen to Bill Cosby or watch one of his old commercials from a long time ago.” Stern’s wife is equally old. Maybe she deserves a cameo in the next Jurassic Park movie. Stern’s wife could play one of the dinosaurs. Hold on. Stern’s mom is reportedly still alive. Was Stern’s mom born before Christ? When did Howard Stern become one of the old guys?
